The spiritual teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola

St. Ignatius of Loyola was the founder of the Jesuit movement and from his studies and his own experience of illness, he brought together what are called the ‘Ignatian Spiritual Exercises’ which are a compilation of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices. These exercises traditionally form the basis for a 30 day silent retreat or are taken over the course of about a year in daily life, but they also provide an understanding of the natural cycle we go through in our relationship with God and can help us explore the divine relationship Ignatius believed is in our very design.
In these workshops we will look at the teachings in depth and bring our own experience to them for further understanding.
