March for Europe 9 Sept 2017

Marie- Elsa will give a short speech in Parliament Square.
.
Joining the call for a new wave of political inspiration.
.
She will be remembering the post war spirit that our grandparents and great grandparents passed on to us. The extraordinary capacity to join together and build our communities with equality and integrity. It is time to build on what we have been given so that all who voted for Brexit and all who voted for Remain can join together and bring a new wave of political intelligence into the UK and Europe. Politics for the people and inspired by the people. Citizenship that inspires the individual and the community.
.
She will argue that we need to re-ignite the immediate value and importance of debate and learning in town halls, leisure centres, churches, mosques, synagogues and any other building that is willing to provide the rich ground of true political debate; equality, human rights, community care, poverty, global responsibility, environmental responsibility and so much more.
.
Our youth crave for a hopeful ground to work out how to follow our legacy. It’s time to join together and reclaim political inspiration so that the inevitable global politics that is on the horizon can be met with the full body of wisdom and integrity that we have to offer.
.
Speeches begin at around 1pm and Marie-Elsa will be reasonably early in the line-up.
